All of our products are completely handcrafted, and we make no representation or guarantee that any product will appear exactly as any another or know exactly what the wood will do once settled into its permanent location due to different moisture and temperature content. 


Natural Characteristics of Wood

  1. Solid Wood Materials:

    • All our furniture is crafted from solid wood, chosen for its beauty, strength, and longevity. Each piece of wood has its own distinct grain pattern, texture, and color variations, contributing to the uniqueness of your furniture.

  2. Natural Imperfections:

    • Cracks and Knots: Wood is a natural material, and it is common for it to have cracks and knots. These imperfections are inherent to the wood and add to the character and charm of the finished piece. They do not compromise the structural integrity of the furniture. Different species of wood will have inconsistencies, blemishes or imperfections. This is normal especially in softwood.

    • Shrinkage and Expansion: Wood is hygroscopic, meaning it can absorb and release moisture from the environment. As a result, it may experience shrinkage or expansion over time, particularly in response to changes in humidity and temperature. These changes are natural and out of our control.

  3. Environmental Factors:

    • To minimize the effects of environmental changes, it is advisable to keep your furniture in a stable environment with consistent humidity and temperature levels. Avoid placing the furniture in direct sunlight, near heat sources, or in excessively dry or damp areas.

  4. Maintenance and Care:

    • Regular care and maintenance can help preserve the beauty and functionality of your solid wood furniture. Use appropriate wood care products and follow the care instructions provided with your purchase.

  5. Dimensions

    • Please note that final dimensions may be slightly smaller or larger due to processing materials through equipment.
